Every office around the U.S. has the freedom to support, volunteer for, and donate to organizations that are important to their local people and communities. Read some of our highlights.
National Impact
When natural disasters strike, Lockton responds with urgency, compassion, and a deep commitment to community. Across the United States, our Associates mobilize to support those affected — whether through volunteer efforts, fundraising, or direct aid. From hurricanes and wildfires to floods and tornadoes, Lockton’s culture of care shines through in moments of crisis, reinforcing our belief that meaningful impact begins with showing up for one another when it matters most.
IN DONATIONS IMPACTING 75 ASSOCIATES
Coming together for California
When devastating wildfires destroyed thousands of homes and lives across Southern California, we responded quickly. Our West team mobilized to support impacted Associates and their families, providing hotel accommodations and other critical resources to ensure safety and stability during a tough time.
To further aid recovery efforts, the Lockton family, through the Lockton Cares Fund, committed $250,000 to three frontline organizations delivering direct relief: California Fire Foundation, California Community Foundation, and World Central Kitchen.
Associates worldwide also stepped up, donating $62,130 to support their colleagues. With a matching gift from the Lockton family, the total Associate-driven support reached $124,260, benefiting 75 impacted Associates.
IN DONATIONS TO ST. LOUIS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
Standing strong with St. Louis
When tornadoes swept through the densely populated St. Louis metro area, the devastation was swift and heartbreaking. While we’re grateful that none of our Associates were directly affected, many of our neighbors and loved ones faced significant loss.
In response, Lockton Cares donated $25,000 to the St. Louis Community Foundation’s City of St. Louis Tornado Response Fund, helping provide immediate essentials like shelter, food, and clothing to those most in need.
But our support didn’t stop there. We rallied together, inviting Associates to contribute. Their generosity added $10,000, which was matched by the Lockton family — bringing our total impact to $45,000.
Beyond financial support, our St. Louis office stepped up in person, volunteering in the hardest-hit communities and offering hands-on help where it was needed most. Their actions reflect the heart, resilience, and compassion that define Lockton.
A national response to hurricanes Helene and Milton
In October 2024, hurricanes Helene and Milton swept through the Southeast U.S., leaving widespread devastation. Lockton Associates and Producers across the country responded swiftly and generously.
Through the Lockton Cares Fund, the Lockton family committed $150,000 to support critical relief efforts via Operation Airdrop, the United Way Hurricane Helene Fund, and World Central Kitchen.
In addition, Lockton Associates contributed $20,940, which was matched by the Lockton family, bringing the total to $41,880 in Associate-driven support. These funds were directed to help impacted Associates and their communities.
But our response went far beyond financial aid.
- Christian Moreno, with support from the Dunning, Founders, and aviation teams, delivered thousands of dollars in essential supplies, including bottled water, baby formula, flashlights, medicine, and nonperishable food.
- Steve Lockton coordinated the delivery of 100,000 meals and disaster relief supplies to affected areas.
- In western North Carolina, a Lockton Associate led a grassroots drive that raised $38,000 and collected enough clothes, coats, blankets, and supplies to fill three carloads, which were delivered to families in the Asheville area. Read more here.
United for impact: Lockton’s enduring commitment to United Way
Our founder, Jack Lockton, was a proud supporter of United Way, and that spirit of giving has been part of our DNA from the very beginning. Since 2000, our Associates have donated nearly $30 million to local United Way chapters through our now-legendary campaigns. But our commitment goes far beyond fundraising.
Today, our United Way efforts fully express who we are. Across offices, Associates build care kits, donate supplies, host learning workshops, give blood, and volunteer their time, all to support the communities we call home.
Here’s a snapshot of our 2024 impact:
- Affinity: Raised $94,000 with an impressive 87% participation rate.
- Founders/Center: Hosted a carnival-themed campaign that raised $858,246.27 for top agencies, including Lockton’s own Equity and Opportunity Fund.
- Midwest: Embraced a “Wild Wild Midwest” theme and raised $166,438.
- Southeast: The Lockton + United Way Summer Games raised $115,625.11, exceeding the goal by 112%. This two-week campaign featured on-site and off-site volunteer events, with a mission to do something positive for 10 days straight.
- West: The Annual Grand Giving Campaign raised over $1.1 million for 56+ organizations across seven states, including organizations that support schools and early childhood education, homeless people, medical institutions, animal shelters, and more.
From coast to coast, our people continue to live out our values, proving that we can create lasting changes when we come together.
Camp Lockton: Inspiring the next generation
At Lockton, Bring Your Kid to Work Day is more than a peek into the workplace — it’s an experience! Camp Lockton is an annual event designed to spark curiosity about our industry and instill a deep appreciation for community impact.
This year, our campers:
- Houston: Packed over 200 snack bags for Kids’ Meals, a local nonprofit delivering more than 15,500 meals daily to food-insecure children
- North Texas: Assembled 400 snack bags for a back-to-school drive with Community Partners of Dallas, supporting children in Dallas County Child Protective Services
- Omaha: Assembled over 40 care bags for children served by Open Door Mission
- Minneapolis: Packed 100 snack kits for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House
- Kansas City: Created kits for Sunflower House, while our Affinity campers made bracelets and cards for patients at Children’s Mercy
- Midwest: Donated gently loved books and made over 500 care kits for their local Ronald McDonald Houses
Camp Lockton is a joyful reminder that even the smallest hands can make a big difference.
Honoring MLK Day through service
Since 2022, Lockton Associates across the U.S. have embraced Martin Luther King Jr. Day not as a day “off” but as a day “on” — a powerful opportunity to take action and serve in pursuit of a more united and equitable America. Our BOLD (Black Originators, Leaders, and Doers) Associate Resource Group leads this annual tradition, which organizes meaningful service opportunities in our communities.
This year, our collective impact was felt nationwide:
- Boston: Partnered with Junior Achievement to support the “Take Stock in Your Future” after-school program at the John D. O’Bryant School of Mathematics & Science
- Kansas City: Assembled over 2,000 dental kits to support United Way’s dental health initiatives
- Hartford: Organized an undergarment drive benefiting the Community Renewal Team
- Washington, D.C.: Collected clothing for the Richard Wright Schools
- Denver: Hosted a coat drive for students at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Early College, along with the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA), and served dinner at the Denver Rescue Mission
In addition to these coordinated efforts, many Associates used their paid volunteer time to support causes close to their hearts, further amplifying our commitment to community and service.
Associate Resource Groups
Our Associate Resource Groups continue to champion causes that matter deeply to their communities, raising nearly $10,000 for local nonprofits. What makes these efforts even more meaningful is the personal touch: In most cases, our Associates hand-deliver the donations, meeting face-to-face with the individuals and organizations making a difference.
One Pride ARG — Pride shirt fundraisers
In both 2024 and 2025, our One Pride ARG turned colorful Pride shirts into powerful acts of giving. In 2024, they raised $1,733.41 to support the Resource Center in Dallas, helping fund our sponsorship of their Pride celebration. The following year, they continued the tradition, donating $1,077.50 to Our Spot KC, a safe and affirming space for LGBTQ+ youth in Kansas City.
Juntos (Hispanic ARG) — Hispanic Heritage Month
During Hispanic Heritage Month, Juntos made a meaningful impact by donating $500 to Guadalupe Centers, a nonprofit serving the Latino community. But the generosity didn’t stop there. Our Kansas City IT team partnered with the organization to donate 20 retired laptops, valued at $6,000, giving students access to essential technology for learning and growth.
Valor (Veterans ARG) — Veterans Day
To honor Veterans Day, Valor raised $367.50 for the Bob Woodruff Foundation, which supports veterans living with traumatic brain injuries. These funds provided hot meals for 60 veterans, offering not just nourishment but a moment of comfort and connection.
Aspire ARG — AAPI Heritage Month
Aspire celebrated AAPI Heritage Month by raising $165 to support APIA Scholars, an organization empowering Asian Pacific Islander American students through education. The donation will be made shortly, continuing our tradition of uplifting future leaders and honoring the diverse cultures that shape our communities.
Feeding hope: Lockton Associates unite to support local food banks nationwide
Across the U.S., Lockton Associates regularly roll up their sleeves to support local food banks, driven by a shared commitment to fighting hunger and strengthening their communities. Whether sorting donations, packing meals, or organizing drives, their hands-on involvement reflects Lockton’s culture of care and service. These efforts not only provide essential resources to families in need but also foster deeper connections between our people and the neighborhoods we call home.
Coming together in Texas
As part of the 2024 State of the Companies events in Dallas, team members joined forces to assist Rise Against Hunger.
The hundreds of shelf-stable meal kits created in just a few hours were sent to dozens of locations to fight hunger, support nutrition, and provide health education. Meanwhile, in Houston, our Associates and Producers stepped away from their desks and into the heart of the Houston community for the Day of Service at the Houston Food Bank as we celebrated the new fiscal year. Teams worked hard to sort, pack, and prepare food for distribution. By the end of the day, their collective efforts resulted in 21,268 meals for families facing food insecurity.
Our teams across Texas came together again to host a canned food drive during the annual Texas State Fair Day event. Nearly 400 pounds of food was collected and donated to the North Texas Food Bank, which provides more than 118 million meals annually and supports smaller organizations such as Aunt Bette's Community Pantry. Our BOLD Associate Resource Group also organized a holiday food drive at the Dallas and Plano offices, benefiting Minnie’s Food Pantry with over 493 pounds of food donated. The group continued its commitment with a day of volunteering at Minnie's, which distributed more than 3.5 million meals in the Dallas area in 2024.

Mini golf across the Midwest
The Chicago and St. Louis offices went all out for their annual Mini Golf for a Cause event, transforming the workspace into a creative course filled with fun and purpose. Once the fun was over, we donated over 3,300 food items to the Northern Illinois Food Bank and 752 pounds of food to the St. Louis Area Foodbank.
Our St. Louis office continues to make a powerful impact in the local community through its ongoing partnership with Feed My Starving Children. In 2024, Lockton Associates helped pack an astounding 1,375,704 meals — providing daily nutrition to 3,769 children for an entire year.
While these are just a few examples from the past year, they reflect a larger truth: No matter our location or role, when we come together with purpose, we can create lasting impact in the communities we serve.
