Northeast
Day of service
Northeast Associates gathered to pour back into local communities for our annual Day of Service. Check out some of the organizations we were able to support!
Boston and Portland teams helped Lazarus House by donating and assembling more than 100 kits containing essential hygiene items for the unhoused. They also collected clothing for Catie’s Closet, for kids to “shop” for school clothes. Associates also sorted and packed donated children’s clothing for Cradles to Crayons.
Connecticut colleagues lent a hand to Bushnell Park by keeping the area beautiful and welcoming to all visitors. They also designed cards of encouragement and care for families at Ronald McDonald House.
New York City Associates supported Stars of Hope by raising funds and painting stars with inspiring messages for individuals and communities affected by disasters and mass violence. They also assembled snack packs for Ronald McDonald House families. Additionally, colleagues visited families and children in need at The Children’s Village.
Philadelphia Associates provided aid to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia by raising funds and packing over 100 craft kits for children receiving inpatient care. The financial and in-kind donations included boxes of stuffed animals and books to provide comfort to children through Philadelphia Children’s Alliance.
Washington, D.C., colleagues helped Friendship Place by assembling and distributing 70 lunches and snack packs for the unhoused.
Cradles to Crayons
Boston Associates and their families came together to quality check, sort, package, and prepare collected clothing donations to go to kids in our community.
Cradles to Crayons’ mission is to provide children from birth through age 12 living in homeless or low-income situations with the essentials they need to thrive at home, at school, and at play. The organization’s goal for this initiative is to end clothing insecurity for children in our local communities. One in three children in Massachusetts are at risk of experiencing clothing insecurity, and the Boston location can serve over 145,000 of those children every year.
Annual support
We don’t just take one day to serve our communities — it’s an ongoing commitment! Just a few of the organizations our Associates support below!
Move United Warfighters Charity Challenge
Since its inception in 2015, the Move United Warfighters Charity Challenge, an annual golf tournament dedicated to empowering veterans through adaptive sports, has grown into a powerful force for good. In 2024 alone, it raised an impressive $736,000 for Move United Warfighters, helping expand access to life-changing programs for veterans nationwide. With sights set on reaching $1 million per tournament, Josh Olson, Gary Giulietti, and David Giulietti, the events founders remain committed to growing the event’s impact year after year.
Shatterproof Walk
The 2024 Shatterproof Walk, a joint venture between Lockton Cares and the Northeast Well-Being Group, raised over $20,000! Associates in Boston and DC walked to erase the stigma related to addiction.
OLC golf tournament
The annual Lockton Cares Hartford Charity Golf Tournament raised over $200,000 for the sustainability of Our Lady of Calvary Retreat Center. Established ten years ago by Bill Husic, he rallied 400+ golfers and 80 volunteers! We were able to extend the proceeds to Father Michael’s Maine Hispanic Ministry and Lord’s Gym Ministry, Greater Cincinnati Tri-State Area.
