A Southeast tradition: Charity Fishing Tournament

The Southeast Lockton Cares Charity Fishing Tournament marked its eighth year in 2024, continuing its legacy of generosity and industry collaboration. With 65 sponsors and broad participation from carriers, vendors, and strategic partners, the event raised a significant amount of funds for the Lockton Cares Foundation.

The tournament featured a day of deep-sea fishing followed by a networking dinner and awards program. Five organizations each received $10,000 in support of causes ranging from education and healthcare to animal welfare. Additional grants will be distributed throughout the year based on requests from Associates and Producers.

Since its inception, the event has raised over $1 million for our community and hosted as many as 28 boats and 200 guests each year.

Dream on 3

Charlotte’s Annual Charity Cornhole Tournament brought together over 200 insurance professionals in support of a local nonprofit Dream On 3 creates unforgettable sports experiences for children with life-altering conditions.

The most recent event spotlighted Jacob, a remarkable 17-year-old from Forest City, North Carolina, who has faced serious health challenges over the past year. During the tournament, Jacob and his family received surprising news: He and his papa will attend a Dallas Cowboys game, living their dream together.

Thanks to generous sponsorships, team participation, and donations from our insurance community, Jacob’s dream became a reality.

PanCAN PurpleStride

In honor of our founder, Jack Lockton, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2004, we proudly participate in PanCAN’s PurpleStride, a national movement supporting patients and families affected by pancreatic cancer.

This year, 36 Associates and their families joined the walk, raising $4,871 for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
