Rooted in Houston: A celebration of people, partnerships, and purpose

We celebrated the success of our People Solutions business in Houston with Rooted in Houston, an appreciation event for Associates, clients, prospects, and carrier partners.

We solidified our support of the community with a $10,000 donation to Urban Harvest, a local organization that's working to end food insecurity through community gardens and farmers markets. We recently hosted a kids' activity tent during an Urban Harvest market day, and our Associates are looking forward to volunteering at upcoming events.

Spreading holiday cheer across our communities

This holiday season, Associates across several offices came together to make a meaningful impact in their communities. Through creativity, generosity, and teamwork, Associates helped bring joy, comfort, and hope to those who need it most.

Associates and Producers in our Dallas and Plano offices collected items ranging from toys and clothing to books and slippers for the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program. Members of the Community Impact group also spent a day sorting donated items at the Salvation Army’s North Texas warehouse, which is a hub for providing holiday joy for tens of thousands in the community.

WIN LEAN Group members relieved holiday stress for some Associates and did good in their community by hosting a wrap-a-thon. Volunteers wrapped gifts big and small in exchange for donations to charity. The $1,800 raised in North Texas was donated to Genesis Women’s Shelter to support programs for women and children experiencing domestic abuse, such as a 24-hour helpline, emergency shelter, and legal services. The $210 raised in Houston was donated to Kids’ Meals to support their efforts to feed food-insecure children in the community.

Finally, Baton Rouge Associates partnered with the nonprofit The Life of a Single Mom to collect clothes, shoes, diapers, wipes, toys, and more for a single mom of four daughters in their community. Wrapping the items added a great personal touch and extra holiday cheer!
